There are more than enough martyrs in the world, no need for you to be another one. If you aren't happy in a situation, leave. If you are not satisfied with your life, change it. If you don't like your job, get another one. If you no longer love that person, set them free to find love else where. You don't need to be anywhere your heart doesn't want you to be, not for the sake of peace, not for the sake of money, not for the sake of minimizing conflict and definitely not for the sake of the feelings of another. The world doesn't need any more martyrs, so do what makes you happy, now!
