A father is the person who signs their name on the birth certificate and gives you his last name. But a Daddy is the man who picks you up even when you are too big to be carried. Kisses you on your forehead and tells you that you're beautiful even during your awkward phase. Daddy is the one who reminds you often that he will kill any man who does you wrong and do the time proudly. Daddy is the one who tells you after your heart gets broken, that the man wasn't good enough anyway because no one loves you more than he does. Daddy is the man every girl needs in her life and when she has him, whether he is the "father' or not, she goes into the world confident and self assured just because of him.
