People get very focused on money, be it how much they have, how much they want or how much they don't have. Its not that money isn't an important thing, its really that money isn't thee important thing, for it is far too fluid to be that important. Yes you need it to live and having it makes that life much easier than not having it. However, when you need to talk, when you need to be loved, no amount of money can pay for that. When someone you love is in need, it is your love they expect, need and desire. And they have yet to determine a dollar amount that can buy you love. So focus on what matters.
