"It's so lonely when you don't even know yourself."
Part of growing up is discovering who you are and what impact you want to have in this world. For some this process happens through adolescence, for others it never happens at all. Then there are some folks who live in a perpetual state of adolescence, waiting to "find' themselves. These same folks are often lonely and sad - for it must be hard to bring others into your life that will bring you joy and happiness when you are still on a quest to find out who you are.
