This is a moment to be proud of, not just because Shawn Corey Carter aka Jay Z is on the cover of Forbes, but because he is on the cover with Warren Buffett, one of the most well respected businessmen in the world.
Realize something very important, Jay Z is not on the cover of Forbes with WB (yes I gave him a nickname) because his wealth is at all comparable to WB's (WB was just listed as being worth $45 Billion). And you must understand (in my Chris Rock voice) if WB woke up with Jay Z's money (including Beyonce's) he would launch himself off the nearest building.
This meeting of the unexpected spectrum's has more to do with a respect WB has for the way Jay Z uses his small wealth (small in comparison to WB) to give back. Furthermore, whatever you think about this 40 year old man as a rapper, there is no denying the humble and generous way that he gives back. There is where the two worlds meet. WB and Jay Z both earn enormous amounts of money and opt to spend alot of that money giving back to those less fortunate. Both men earned their money through hard work and self discipline. Both men are on the cover of Forbes Magazine. But only one of those men make me scream "It's the ROC" at the sight of him on the cover! (Throwing the diamond up!!!)
Jay Z, you make me proud!

Although Mr Carter's wealth pales in comparison to that of Mr. Buffet (and by the way I LOVE WB and do not like SC much at all) I have way more respect for SC. Why? Because the hardest thing in this world is being first generation rich. TRUST ME! Warren Buffet's Father was an esteemed business man and a CONGRESSMAN for God sakes! Bill Gates Dad? Most expensive lawyer in Washington State!
Shawn Carter had none of that. Yet, there he is on the cover of Forbes with Warren Buffet. Hardwork is a mother fucker!
