Thought of the Day - August 27, 2008

From the woman who gave the speech last night designed to unite a party - Hillary Clinton

"I want you to ask yourselves: Were you in this campaign just for me? Or were you in it for that young Marine and others like him? Were you in it for that mom struggling with cancer while raising her kids? Were you in it for that boy and his mom surviving on the minimum wage? Were you in it for all the people in this country who feel invisible?"

This was the highlight of this speech and the turning point for many supports of the former first lady. It is also a question that all of us should ask as we move forward to November. Is your support for a candidate about what he represents or what he will do for this country? Because at the end of the day, that makes all the difference in how you react if your candidate does not win.

Have an attentive day!
