Thought of the Day - March 21, 2013

From someone who wrote about the plight of many - James Baldwin

“Not everything that is faced can be changed. But nothing can be changed until it is faced.”

Not every battle you choose to confront will end in a win.  There are times when you will decide to confront the issue, go to war over it and all you will come out on the end with are battle scars.  Just because you aren't guaranteed to change something by confronting it doesn't mean you should avoid it.  Yes, there are times when there is absolutely no benefit to confronting something or someone one; it would be a total waste of time.  But there are other times when facing up to the issue and fighting through it is worth every bump and bruise along the way.  You may not see it in the immediate, but one day, it will prove itself worth the fight.  The key is to know the difference.

Have a determined day!
