Thought of the Day - March 22, 2013

From someone who was inspired - John Henry Newman

“Nothing would be done at all if one waited until one could do it so well that no one could find fault with it.”

There is nothing wrong with wanting to perfect something.  There is nothing wrong with wanting to know all you can know, weighing all the pros and cons, thinking about it in depth and running through a variety scenarios.  That is called planning.  But at some point you have to step out onto the ledge and step off.  There will always be someone around to be critical of your choices despite the level of preparation you did.  There will always be someone who will say you have no idea what you are doing, insisting you are making a mistake.  That will always be the case.  Even more of a reason why sometimes you just have to go for it.  The naysayers are there no matter what you do.  You may as well be soaring off the ledge while they watch rather than sitting in the corner while they talk.

Have a fantastic day!
