It does not matter what you are trying to do, what goal you are trying to reach, where you are trying to go - failure is certain when you are unwilling to put in the proper time and effort. Not only will you certainly fail when you approach a task from a position of entitlement but that failure will appear that much more devastating because you expected to win even when you put forth little to no effort to do so. Get up off your rear and step up to the plate. No one has ever hit a home run from the bench.
