If you don't respect yourself, honor yourself, care for yourself, love yourself - why exactly should anyone else do the same? The way you treat yourself is the blueprint for how others will treat you. And how you allow others to treat you is the model for which onlookers follow when they decide what is acceptable treatment. The only thing you can control is how you treat yourself, so focus on that and the rest will fall into place.
