From someone who learned to go for it - Sydney Smith
“Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable.”
Sometimes you look back on decision you made and wonder why. Sometimes even with the writing on the wall, you did something that railed against your better judgment for reasons you cant quite pinpoint. You can eventually feel better about things you regret having done. But when opportunities missed, chances not taken and risks averted are all you see in your rear view, the pain runs deeper and last longer. Sitting still will not save you from regret. For as much as you may not want to admit it, doing nothing is just as much a decision as doing something. And its far better to deal with the consequences of what you have done rather than what you have NOT done.
Have a responsible day!
