Miserable people garner attention in the short term. But in the long term, that fades and folks turn their attention towards something far more entertaining. Misery is lonely and self serving even with its great attempts to terrorize others. In the end, when you are miserable the only person you are forcing to suffer through your misery is you. Everyone else will eventually turn the page and keep it moving.
