From someone who knew the important difference - Tom Morris
“A goal is not the same as a desire, and this is an important distinction to make. You can have a desire you don't intend to act on. But you can't have a goal you don't intend to act on.”
Knowing the difference between a goal and a desire is the key element that separates the dreamers from the doers! The space of the mind can be endlessly wasted dreaming of what could be. But in doing so, there is little space left to set a plan of action with a goal attached to it. Dreaming is perfectly suitable for sleep. But once you wake up, you must put your feet to the ground and get moving towards achieving some real and concrete goals.
Have a fantastic day!
