From someone who lost his life doing a job on behalf of others - John Fitzgerald Kennedy
“Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others.”
Under no circumstances must you agree with the actions, ideas or beliefs of another. You can look at what they do, who they are, how they live and decide that is not for you. But in doing so, you must never participate in behavior that disables, discourages or prevents another from living as they wish. Keep in mind, tolerance is an ideal which we all desire to be the recipient of at one time or another. And also one you can not expect to receive if it is one you are unable to give.
Have a reflective day!
