Thought of the Day - April 4, 2011

From a man who gave his life on this day in a battle for justice and equality for all - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

A life can not be measured by single acts. To find the true measure of the meaning of someones life, witness their impact on the world after they are no longer here. Some people stand, when things are trying and difficult and fight it out until the end. Those are the people who leave behind a legacy so tremendous and so monumental that we have no choice but to honor that life and that legacy. Dr. King was one of those people and today we honor the life he gave in order to give freedom to us all.

RIP Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and thank you!

Have a powerful day!
