From someone who knew the need to raise the bar - Ralph Marston
“Don't lower your expectations to meet your performance. Raise your level of performance to meet your expectations. Expect the best of yourself, and then do what is necessary to make it a reality.”
High expectations are necessary to achieve high goals. You must set the bar high for yourself and when you approach it, set it even higher. Complacency is for the weak and to be mediocre is for the basic. If you want to be something, do something, go somewhere - it is you who must set the bar and do what it takes to hurdle yourself above it!
Have an ambitious day!
