Love is a high, pain is a low, the pain of love is the deepest low. For nothing can touch the depths of your heart like love and pain. Often the greatest love is accompanied through the door by pain, anger, mistrust and the past. As much as we try, leaving all the rest of that stuff on the doorstep is easier said than done. But if you want to enjoy the high of love, you must deal with the low of pain, whether its the pain of love or the pain that walked in the door along with love.
