What draws people to you has little to do with who you actually are and much more to do with who they perceive you to be. In some cases, the two will align perfectly. In other cases, who you seek to project to the world is in no way related to who you actually are. And when you do that, you should not be surprised by those who you attract and how much they differ from who you are. Nor should you be surprised by how quickly they reject the real you.
