So I decided that I need to take charge of things in my life. I feel confident that I am more than capable to doing any and everything I want to do. I am one who understands my limitations and I pursue things that I am good at. Its my art of success. So while in my heart I would love to be on American Idol belting out a Celine Dion tune, I know that I am limited in the voice area! And there are other real limitations that I have, ones that aren't so far fetched. But they are things about myself that I acknowledge. So no matter how much everyone does it, passing me the bill at the end of dinner still isn't a good idea (I am bad at math). But if you would like me to draft a letter for you or write something/anything for you, I am game!
There are two sides to me and one you get to meet here, the other is in the office where most of them never get to meet who you guys know. I am quite fine with that. I want to succeed in both aspects of my life and I plan to! I just have to use the proper tools from both aspects of my personality/life in order to get where I need to be. Today, my focus happens to be on getting where I want to be in the office (which I believe will get me where I want to be with my writing). For those of you who know what I do for a living you may be surprised that I cant divide a dinner bill evenly! LOL
So today (and I say today because knowing me I will likely finish it today) I will read, "Nice Girls Don't Get the Corner Office", by Lois P. Frankel, PhD. This is a recommendation from a few women whose hustle I completely admire. And if I respect your hustle, I will be more than willing to listen to the tools you offer. That being said, let the reading begin!
