As you grow in relationships and expect more, the greater the level of possible disappointment. You can't be disappointed without expectations and you can't have expectations without past experiences, both of which serve to build or break down a relationship. But remember one thing, disappointment will not kill you. It will hurt like hell and even leave a scar, but it won't kill you. So there is no need to avoid it like the plague. To be disappointed is part of life and feelings, to avoid it is to avoid living life and that will very well kill you!
