There is no simpler way to put it. You must decide early on what it is that you want. But before you claim it as your own you must first consider what it takes to get what you want and if you are willing to do that work and make those sacrifices. Wanting something is not the reason you should get anything. The desire plus the willingness to put in the work is how you reap rewards. Without the willingness to put in the work, your desire is meaningless.
