Being aware of your past mistakes and how they effect your future requires a level of intellect and maturity. Often people are always complaining about all they have to do, yet if they look back, there were many things they should have done in order to prevent the current situation. Work on doing what you need/want to do in the present so that you wont be forced to spend your future doing what you have to.
