You are not perfect. Even in the eyes of those who love you tremendously, you are not perfect. Perfection is not even an option. Therefore you will fumble, you will disappoint, you will mess up. You will do some things that make others question you. And when you do those things, you have to be open to the discussion of your actions, the real talk about your motives and the frank critique that comes from a loving place. You have nothing to worry about. For even in the eyes of those who love you, you are not expected to be perfect. Allow that to be your saving grace when accepting criticism.
