“The truth is rarely pure and never simple.”
While it may not be pure or simple or even sweet, the truth must always be told. When the truth isn't told, it is always finds a way to be shown, for lies have no where near the endurance of truth. You may not want to tell the truth, you may fear telling the truth, you may avoid telling the truth, but doing so does not eliminate the truth. It only shelters the truth, covering it in lies, making it more difficult to be seen. But at some point the truth will show. When that happens you can either be the person who was always telling the truth or the one sheltering the truth with lies. Then you must accept the consequences of how you handled the truth.
