Thought of the Day - April 25, 2012

From someone who kept it level -  Ralph Sockman

“True humility is intelligent self respect which keeps us from thinking too highly or too meanly of ourselves. It makes us modest by reminding us how far we have come short of what we can be.”

It is you who must think the most of yourself, therefore nothing at all is wrong with confidence.  But when your confidence spills over to arrogance, you begin dancing on the line of disaster.  For the next step after arrogance is off the cliff, flying face first into humility.  And nothing hurts more than having your face smacked with humility, especially when you could have just as easily humbled yourself.

Have a sweet day!
