From a man who had a dream - Martin Luther King, Jr.
"We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies."
Oh how easy it is to bear witness to the flaws in others. It takes no effort to point to the ugly ways of others, the shortcomings of others, the things in others that need to change. Sometimes what you see makes it difficult to love someone or difficult to forgive them. But you have to forgive others not just to give love but also to receive it. More importantly, when the moment comes (and it most certainly will) where you require forgiveness, you will wish you had extended such kindness to another.
Have a sweet day!
