People always advise you against burning bridges. While you don't want to spend your life eliminating future possibilities to cross every bridge, there are some bridges that need to be set on fire. Not to prevent you from walking across it again but to stop certain people from coming your way. Choose wisely those relationships you value and protect. Think carefully about the situations you opt to stay in, stay with and commit to. And feel free, when due process is complete, to burn any and all bridges to no where.
