Thought of the Day - November 28, 2011

From someone who wrote from his heart - Elbert Hubbard

"I would rather be able to appreciate things I can not have than to have things I am not able to appreciate."
Often the thought of having something one does not have makes the mind dizzy.  There are many delusions one can attach to that which they do not have and isn't within their grasp.  To step back for a second and take inventory of what one has right in front of them is a task few are able to complete without complaint or disdain.  It isn't just that the grass seems greener on the other side, its that people so often lust after the other side, they believe that grass only grows there.  Sadly they believe this even as the grass grows right beneath their feet.

Have a reflective day!
