From someone who hardly ever did or said great things - Richard M. Nixon
“You must never be satisfied with losing. You must get angry, terribly angry, about losing. But the mark of the good loser is that he takes his anger out on himself and not his victorious opponents or on his teammates.”
Lets face it, no one likes to lose. The idea that someone can be considered a "good" loser is almost inconceivable. Yet there is a way to lose with grace and dignity. There is a way to accept your loss as a personal failure, hold your head up high and vow to try harder next time. That is the way to lose gracefully. Because those who lose gracefully will eventually become winners. However, those who lose poorly will always be considered losers, even when they win.
Have an honorable day!
