Emotional walls are built with a good purpose, to protect and keep out those who seek to do damage. The problem is that the same walls designed to protect tend to block out anyone who can bring joy and happiness. Don't be afraid to build bridges, for a bridge is not a free and open entry to your heart. Who you allow on the bridge, how far they can cross and the moment they need to be thrown off the bridge remains at your discretion.
