Racism exists in America. It impacts all aspects of life for those on the receiving end of it. Those who aren't on the receiving end of racism in America have a great deal of trouble understanding the gravity of its impact. It is the responsibility of those who understand racism and are the recipients of it to identify it openly and share it often so that it is not silenced by those who seek to believe it no longer exist.
