Sometimes we close our eyes so that we do not see things that would change the love in our hearts. To love with your eyes closed is to love blindly. Loving with your eyes closed is to opt not to love in truth. Loving someone by choosing not to see who they are is to choose to love a lie. Dishonest and blind love isn't really love at all.
