Only the fragile ego will inhale mindless praise like air. For such an ego needs to hear praise over and over again to keep it from breaking. This same ego can not accept criticism, that which would serve to elevate them and ultimately make them better. Praise is what many people want, but sometimes constructive criticism from a place a love and caring is actually what they need.
