“You can only be young once. But you can always be immature."
With age should come maturity. But for many, the two are not synonymous. Some people get older because the years are passing them by. They age because that process is totally out of their control. But the journey of maturity and growth is one for which a person must volunteer for and be committed to. Else they move through life as grown up girls/boys confused and unclear as to why their peers have left them behind.
