How you receive your life is all about prospective. Some things will go just the way you hoped they would. Some things will go terribly wrong. And often it won't be a matter of effort from you, but more a matter of things needing to go according to a plan higher and greater than your own. You can chose to accept your life experiences, both good and bad, for the character building moments they are or look back with regret for things you did or didn't do. Keep in mind though, while you are looking back, you are literally missing what is happening right in front of you.
