Above is a template of the Save the Date that went out this week. Everyone actually received a version of this. I am so happy to have this part of the process rolling, just getting the Save the Date out there makes this entire party a real thing! So now you see it, there is the theme, "All Black Everything." There is the date, which you already knew and the reason...to celebrate me turning 30! I hope and that by sending out this magnet, folks will remember to in fact, SAVE this date and be around/available for this FABULOUS party!!!
On another note, I have been thinking more and more about my feelings the day I turned 20. I am so proud of myself for not still being that sad. Proud of myself for embracing just how much it hurt to lose my mother. Proud of myself for approaching my 30th birthday wanting to celebrate being alive instead of wishing I was dead. What a difference 10 years can make....
