This year I decided to walk in AIDS WALK NY again! This event was AMAZING last year with the Walking Girls team raising almost $3,000!! Well this year I hope to do even better than last year. HIV/AIDS is a cause close to my heart because I believe that too many people suffer in silence from this disease and that silence is KILLING THEM! I hope to walk in order to bring additional awareness to this issue and all the preventative methods that can be used in order to avoid contraction. And for those who already have this disease, I hope to raise money for increased research to find a cure.
