From French philosopher who recognized the phony side of people - François de la Rochefoucauld
"We get so much in the habit of wearing disguises before others that we finally appear disguised before ourselves."
Not pointing fingers, but some people are so phony. They spend so much energy faking to other people about what they are thinking feeling or doing. They are lying to others about their motivations, emotions and overall happiness. The saddest part about that habitual phony behavior is that after a while the image they are trying to portray shows up in the mirror. How scary is it when someone has told their lies so much that they begin to believe their own hype?
Have a truthful and honest day!
