When people step outside of themselves and do things for you that they do NOT have to do - that is kind. When people step in and step up when then do not have to - that is kind. And when someone can look at you, feel your broken heart and simply reach out to you - that is kind. Kindness demonstrated by others requires more than just a thank you. It requires the kind of gratitude so deep that two words simply will not cut it.
