Will Justice Be Served - RIP Sean Bell

I would like to encourage all of you to tune into the coverage of the Trial of the NYPD Detectives for the murder of Sean Bell. If you have a chance to read any article about the trial which is only on day 2, you will witness the criminalization and villanization of a Black Man who is the CLEAR VICTIM in the case. They are attempting to put his character on trial when he is the one who was gunned down in the street.

I encourage you all to pay attention to how the criminal justice system unfairly treats men of color, even whey they are the victims of crime.

Will this justice be served? Will NYPD ever see black men as anything other than suspects? This boils my blood because cases like this show that black men are living in a country where the police are on the hunt for them, but not to arrest them, to kill them in cold blood and get away with it.

This is why we need to VOTE! Under the Guilani Administration, NYPD was like on the hunt and using deadly force to "clean up" New York City. We have to put people in office who are going to be dedicated to retraining the NYPD with better tactics so they know not to shoot and RELOAD on unarmed individuals who the "suspect" would cause them harm! We have to do better people!
