With the upcoming primaries in WI and Hawaii - Barack Obama is looking at a possible 10 wins in a row! More importantly, Obama has cut into Hillary Clinton's core base substantially in the last two weeks. He is also staying on message and not allowing her negative ads and rhetoric to take him off his course. Lets not forget, Obama has been up against this before and he won the US Senate in IL at the end of it!
As a woman of color, I am a proud supporter of Barack Obama for many of his political ideas but mostly because he inspires the masses. I have met many people, most who are not political junkies like me who studied this in college, that are totally into this race. They are proud to vote, inspired to pay attention and encouraged to participate in this very important election. This is a moment ladies and gentlemen, a moment we MUST take seriously!
I say forget Vote or Die - Vote or SHUT THE HELL UP!!

Amen, amen, and amen again. This is the most engaging election I have ever witnessed. I cast my first vote for president back in 1979 when I turned 18. I became a political junkie at 16 when I watched Jimmy Carter's inauguration on tv. I am proud to see that young people-both black, white and other are paying attention. Let's face it, no candidate is perfect, but Barak Obama is the best hope that this country has not only to bring us out from under republican rule, but to restore the respect that we once had across the globe.
As a person of middle age, I never thought I would see a black man come this far in a presidential run in my lifetime.
I am a proud supporter of Mr. Obama and will actively campaign for him when he gets the Democratic nomination. I don't think black folks could have created a better representative of what we are to run for president and to represent us. We MUST support Senator Obama the same way the Bush/Clinton dynasty has been supported over the years; and black folk really supported the Clintons. I doubt that kind of loyal support of the Clintons will continue--regardless of how this election turns out because we now have had a chance to see them for what they really are. The rumors circulated even when we loved and supported them!
Mr. Obama is the leader that black folks and all folks have been waiting for. Not because we think that he is the great savior, but because he inspires in us the things that have been lacking (e.g. public service, global unity, etc.) in us as not just Americans, but as humans for decades. By electing Senator Obama we could actually become the nation that we should have been a long time ago.
